おいしそう！
A short easy Japanese blog about saying oishisou when food looks delicious.
「おいしそう！」は、食べ物を見て、食べたいと思ったときに使う言葉です。
“Oishisou!” is something you say when food looks delicious and makes you want to try it.
私の生徒は、食べ物の写真をよく送ってくれます。
My students often send me photos of delicious food.
写真を見ると、いつもお腹が空きます。
Looking at the photos always makes me hungry.
いろいろな国の料理を見るのは、とても楽しいです。
It is fun to see food from different countries.

What is your favorite dish?
Add 「そう」 to the stem of an i-adjective to describe appearance: 「おいしい」 becomes 「おいしそう」. Do not use 「おいしいそう」.
